Made in the USA from the finest American Hardwoods, all of our worktops are available from stock here in the UK. Our warehouse and workshops are on the Sandringham Estate on the North Norfolk Coast - come and visit us and see for yourself why we really are different.
Norfolk Oak design and manufacture the most beautiful solid hardwood worktops, using the finest furniture grade North American Hardwoods such as White Oak, Black Walnut, Cherry and Hard Maple; our worktops are second to none. All of our worktops are made in the USA in Ohio, with most of our lumber coming from the Northern Appalachian Mountain areas of Pennsylvania and New York State.
Our success is driven by our desire to make only the finest wooden worktops using the only best materials available. We make every worktop we sell; we are not wholesalers or retailers pretending to buy directly from the factory. We are the factory and we control the entire process; it’s our attention to every small detail, our dedication to make only the very best worktops and our commitment to sustainable, beautiful lumber that sets us apart. 
Details such as making our worktops 45 mm thick to bring a defining look to your kitchen. Or using the latest two part waterproof glue, easily exceeding the highest European Standards. Without forgetting what a Hardwood worktop is all about; the wood itself. You simply cannot underestimate the beauty of a worktop made with furniture grade American Hardwoods.
Of course you would be forgiven for thinking such quality comes with an outrageous price tag; but be prepared for a pleasant surprise. A whole ten metres of the finest American White Oak worktop 635 mm wide, 45 mm thick which would transform any kitchen costs less than a thousand pounds, with a single three metre piece costing just £245.00 plus VAT. Even a 3 metre American Black Walnut worktop only costs £375.00 plus VAT.
Of course you don't just have to order 3 metre lengths. All of our worktops are available fully bespoke cut with every conceivable sink cut out, drainage groove or special join you can imagine. As we manufacture our own worktops, with enough notice we can create a worktop of almost unlimited size. To date, the largest has been six meters long. In fact, what we can do with our worktops to make your kitchen look sensational is limited only by your imagination.
Our Oak worktops are made from lumber grown in Pennsylvania, New York State and Vermont deep in the northern Appalachian mountians. Our Cherry and Hard Maple is from NorthWest Hardwoods and is grown in Vermont and Pennsylvania. Our Black Walnut is from NorthWest Hardwoods in Wisconsin, and Hartzell Hardwoods in Ohio. Each of these areas has developed as a centre of excellence for fine hardwood production. There are many reasons to purchase worktops from Norfolk Oak, all of them beggining with quality. Each worktop is individual, its beauty enhanced by the natural colour, grain and patina of one of the great gifts of nature; pure wood.
Below is an image of the three different styles of worktop we make. They are all made from the same furniture grade lumber; we cut the defects out of the lumber and then use the different sizes resulting from that in our worktops.
