Our Oak worktops come in three different styles; (please see the individual style page for more details) Single Wide Stave Oak Worktops Our Single Wide Stave Oak Worktops are made from long planks which run the entire length of the worktop and are edge glued. Rarely longer than 3 metres (as finding clean lumber this long without defects is very difficult), they are available in most sizes and almost any width. Two Join Traditional Oak Plank Worktops A Two Join Oak Worktop is made from long planks which may have a maximum of two finger joints per length, and then edge glued. In effect it is midway between a Classic butchers block style and a wide single stave style worktop.
Our Classic Oak Worktop is made from oak staves which are finger jointed (giving an immensely strong and stable join) and then edge glued to form a beautiful worktop.
